On 13 November 2009, 3i Group plc (the "Company") was notified that on 12 November 2009 the following non-executive Directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMRs") of 3i Group plc (the "Company") acquired the total number of ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each in the Company ("Shares") shown against their name below, at 268.4p per Share:
